Do I have a magic wand that can make the website just appear?
Sadly, no. I wish I did!
I know that for a lot of companies, creating or updating a website is just one item on entire list of things that need to get taken care of. They'd love to wave a magic wand and have it be over and done with.
Many of you think that you need a website because it's seen as a basic requirement nowadays or because the competition has one. Most people start off thinking it's some sort of online brochure. They get one the same way they get business cards or real world brochures. This can be true. However your website can be more than a chore.
Think of your website as a member of the team.
Wouldn't you like a salesperson who worked 24/7? It can be a salesperson that you create from the ground up. How about someone who can coordinate your activities? Perhaps things like:
- Calendaring and Schedule coordination
- Private storage of customer documents
- Building relationships
- Accept credit cards online
More than you'd think
It's possible you can have your website do much more than you think it could...
